French Suspect Admits Killing 5 Elderly Women

PARIS —
A jobless, 22-year-old man has confessed to the killings of five elderly women, including the sister of the national railroad company’s president, police said Friday.
Claude Lastennet was arrested Wednesday in a suburb west of Paris and told investigators he had “killed for the sake of killing,” police said.
The victims ranged in age from 73 to 92.
