Chung Il Kwon; Ex-South Korea Leader

Chung Il Kwon, 77, former prime minister of South Korea. A retired four-star general, Chung served as general commander for South Korea during the 1950-53 Korean War. In the 1960s and 1970s, he served as ambassador to the United States, as foreign minister and as prime minister under the late military strongman Park Chung Hee.
