Pacific Telesis Posts $391-Million 4th-Quarter Loss: The company attributed the loss of 92 cents a share for the period ended Dec 31. largely to restructuring costs. A year earlier, Pacific Telesis earned $287 million, or 71 cents per share. Revenue was $2.3 billion, up 1% from $2.27 billion in the fourth quarter of 1992. Its earnings for the latest period were reduced by $670 million because of special onetime charges for a restructuring that is expected to eliminate 10,000 jobs by the end of 1997. Without the charges, the company said, it would have earned $279 million, or 66 cents a share, which is still below its performance a year ago.
