The Bullfrogs will open the 1994 season and defense of their Roller Hockey International championship by playing host to the Los Angeles Blades June 4 at Anaheim Arena.

RHI also announced a television deal with ESPN and ESPN2. The cable networks will broadcast games each week, playoff games, the RHI all-star game and the championship series.

This announcement came shortly after RHI said it was merging with the World Roller Hockey League. RHI, which had 12 teams for its inaugural season in 1993, has expanded to 20 teams and hopes to add two to four franchises by Feb. 1.
