The ASSIST ministry in Garden Grove has begun their Bridge of Friendship project linking 600,000 new Christian youths in the former Soviet Union to North American Christians. The project is in conjunction with the Christian Broadcasting Network of Virginia Beach, Va., who co-produced a television program called “What Are You Living For?” which was shown in the former Soviet Union. Many of the youths became Christians after viewing the program, then enrolled in a Bible correspondence course offered through CBN’s office in Kiev.

Dan Wooding, founder and president of ASSIST (Aid to Special Saints in Strategic Times), is recruiting several thousand Canadian and American Christians to write to these youths. Those interested can call (714) 530-6598.
