COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Bradshaw Scores 23, Titans Rally to Beat Nevada
Although Nevada led by seven at the end of the first half, Fullerton came back for a 70-61 Big West Conference victory in a women’s basketball game Thursday at Nevada.
Guard Shayla Bradshaw scored 23 points, including two three-pointers, to lead the Titans (3-18, 2-11). Forward Autumn Hollyfield added 17 points, including five three-pointers, and Shefonda Colbert had 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Center Shelley Chatfield scored 18 points for Nevada (3-16, 0-13), which is winless in conference play.
In another conference game:
UC Santa Barbara 73, UC Irvine 65--The Gauchos were at the free-throw line all night, and made 31 of 40 free throws.
Tamera Thomas and Jinelle Williams each scored 14 points for UC Irvine (2-19, 1-12).
