Chrysler to Unload Wiring Division: The auto maker said it will sell its electrical wiring division, with 11,000 employees, to Japan’s Yazaki Corp., a Chrysler supplier. The price was not disclosed. The sale of the Acustar Electrical Wiring Division includes eight wire harness assembly plants in Mexico, as well as engineering, administrative and warehouse support in the United States. The division’s 11,000 employees are based primarily in Mexico. Chrysler’s stock closed unchanged at $57.875 on the NYSE.
