Samsung to Fund North Korean Rail Line: South Korea’s second-largest conglomerate has agreed to help fund the construction of a rail line linking North Korea and China, the Far Eastern Economic Review’s Feb. 24 edition reported. Samsung will take a 10% stake in China-Jilin-Dongbei Interior Port & Railway Co., it said.
