Tennessee’s Houston Quits Vols
Wade Houston, Tennessee’s basketball coach, has resigned with the Vols (5-19 overall and 1-12 in the Southeastern Conference) apparently destined for their worst season since they finished 4-19 in 1961-62.
Houston said he will leave after this season. The Vols have two regular-season games left before the Southeastern Conference tournament in two weeks.
Houston, whose five-year record at Tennessee is 65-87, said he hopes to continue coaching.
