HomeBase’s Orr Will Oversee Company Information Systems

Jim Orr has been promoted to vice president/management information systems for HomeBase Inc., the Irvine-based home improvement warehouse chain. Orr, who was formerly data center director for the 83-store chain, will oversee data center operations, distributed systems, and telecommunications and systems development. Orr joined HomeBase in 1988 as manager of computer operations.
