Jobless Rate Revised Downward: The Bureau of Statistics updated its employment data for the past six months, dropping the January jobless rate to 10.5% from a previously reported 10.6%. The revised figure is the lowest unemployment rate since April, 1992. “There is a strong possibility of a sub-10% unemployment rate by the end of 1994,” the bureau said.
