Seoul Rejects U.S. Demand for Tariff Cuts: The government said the terms for vehicle imports are already better than for the European Union. A trade ministry official, speaking at the end of three days of bilateral trade talks, said Seoul has no intention of cutting rates from the current 10%, citing EU tariff rates of 11% to 22%.
