Nissan Recalling 218,000 Altimas: The auto maker said it is recalling the 1993 and ’94 Altima sedans sold in the United States and Canada to fix a faulty cable that could prevent the engine from returning to idle. Nissan said the throttle cable could pull out of its mount in the vehicle fire wall in some cold-weather conditions. Repairs will be made free at authorized Nissan dealers.
