Access HealthNet Posts 3rd-Quarter Improvements

Access HealthNet Inc., a Westlake Village provider of health-care information systems products, reported profits in its fiscal third quarter and nine months that ended Dec. 31, rebounding from year-earlier losses.

In the latest three months, the company earned $268,210, contrasted with a loss of $172,110 a year before. Its quarterly revenue rose 60%, to $1.42 million from $890,918.

For the nine months that ended Dec. 31, Access HealthNet had net income of $989,510 and its revenue tripled to $4.33 million. In the year-earlier period, the company lost $116,994 on $1.29 million in revenue. The company attributed its improved results to continued demand for its products and services.
