World IN BRIEF : NORTH KOREA : Regime Threatens to Halt Inspections

U.N. nuclear inspectors left North Korea without checking everything they wanted, and the Pyongyang regime threatened to halt inspections over a dispute with Washington. South Korean news reports said the inspectors were denied access to a radio chemical laboratory suspected of being used to extract plutonium, a key component of nuclear warheads. The North Koreans have denied working on atomic weapons.
