Paul A. Kerschner; Director of Gerontological Society of America
Paul A. Kerschner, 52, one of America’s leading experts on aging. For the last two years he directed the Gerontological Society of America, the national organization of researchers on aging. He had formerly served as associate director of the Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center at USC and the American Assn. of Retired Persons. He was senior vice president of the National Council on the Aging and a former director of the National Foundation for Long Term Health Care. On March 21 in Washington of cancer.
