OC HIGH: STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS : SAT Verdict
The first wave of students has now undergone the newly revised Scholastic Aptitude Test, now named the Scholastic Assessment Test I (SAT I) and administered for the first time March 19.
Capistrano Valley High School senior Marcus McGee thought it “definitely was easier.”
But, McGee added, “As usual, the test contained words I had never heard before in my life.”
Emilie Scott, a junior at Capistrano Valley High, said, “The beginning parts of the math and English were too easy, and I was getting a bad feeling. The last part of the math was really hard, though.”
Harder or not, the true test of SAT I’s difficulty will be decided after the scores are received.
