3 Killed, 6 Hurt by Bomb Blast on Indian Oil Rig

NEW DELHI — A bomb explosion on a state-owned Indian oil rig Saturday killed at least three workers and seriously injured six others, the Press Trust of India said.
It said the bomb went off on a rig belonging to the Oil & Natural Gas Corp. in Mehsana in the western Gujarat state. There was no immediate word on who planted the bomb.
