Share

The first of a planned trilogy of instructional videos for people with HIV is out from Lifeforce, a local nonprofit organization founded to help people with the disease.

The first tape, available for $39.95, focuses on diet and nutrition, said Lifeforce Director Steve Frankel.

A second video will explore holistic therapies and a third will look at various stress reduction techniques.

The diet video, titled “The HIV+ Survival Guide: Diet for Living in the Age of AIDS,” does not endorse a particular protocol but deals with specific concerns of HIV-infected individuals, such as chronic fatigue, yeast infection and malnutrition.

Frankel said proceeds from the video sales will fund a free nutritional lecture series produced by Lifeforce.

The video can be purchased by calling (800) 788-8823.
