Stanley B. Anderson Jr.; Owner of Award-Winning Vineyard

Stanley B. Anderson Jr., 67, owner of the award-winning S. Anderson Vineyard in the Napa Valley. A respected dentist in Pasadena, Anderson built his winery on a 120-acre estate in Yountville in 1974. The winery eventually included 7,000 square feet of barrel-aging caves dug into the hillside. Anderson, who retired from dentistry to devote full time to winemaking in 1985, produced wines that won numerous awards and were served at state dinners in the White House.
