WEEKEND TV : Latinos in Spotlight for Cinco de Mayo

In a salute to Cinco de Mayo, Latino role models will be profiled Sunday at 5 p.m on KCAL-TV Channel 9 in “Progress! The Spirit of Cinco de Mayo!”

Guests include Rebuild L.A.’s president and CEO Linda Griego; businessman Gilbert de Cardenas; immigration lawyer Alma Nieto; actor and martial arts expert Fabian Carrillo; the Comedy Compadres; East L.A. accounting firm partner Luis Barajas; and migrant educator Tony Gaitan.
