FULLERTON : Church to Exhibit AIDS Memorial Quilt
St. Philip’s Catholic Church is inviting the public to view the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt on Sunday.
The quilt project began in 1987 when a small group of people sewed together square panels as a tribute to people who have died of AIDS. The quilt now has thousands of squares.
The all-day exhibit will be at the church, at the corner of Gilbert Street and Valencia Drive. No admission will be charged.
