Investment Executive Found Dead: The body of Wardell Lazard, chairman of a prominent minority-owned investment company, was found in a Pittsburgh hotel room, police said. Lazard’s nude body was face-down on a bed in the Vista International Hotel, they said. Lazard, 44, was also chief executive of W.R. Lazard & Co., a New York-based investment counseling firm with an office in Pittsburgh. Hotel maids notified security after finding the door chain-locked, police officer John Carroll said. The Allegheny County coroner’s office said it would perform an autopsy today. Lazard’s company declined to comment.
