That compares with a profit of $1.4 million, or 21 cents a share, for 1993’s first quarter. Revenue rose 43% to $41.9 million from $29.4 million. In addition, Care Enterprises Inc., which has since merged with Regency, reported first quarter profit of $1.1 million, or 9 cents a share, up 15% from $996,000, or 8 cents a share, recorded for last year’s first three months. Quarterly revenue increased 11% to $53.1 million from $47.9 million.
