Nuclear Waste Project
Regarding your editorial, “Weapons Labs Are Struggling to Find Their Role in the ‘90s,” May 2:
May I suggest that a new “Manhattan Project” be started to detoxify all the nuclear waste that is poisoning this country and the rest of the world.
It would be money well spent as well as solve the scientists’ unemployment problem that has developed as a result of various cutbacks.
