Good Demand: At Morningside, a new 41-acre retirement community in Fullerton, seniors have already reserved more than half of the 98 apartments in the final phase of the project, developers said.

Already home to 300 residents ages 62 and older, the community will eventually have more than 400 senior residents. Construction of Morningside is expected to be completed in July, with move-ins planned for later that month. Morningside is being developed by CoreCare, a joint venture between Menlo Park developer Spieker Partners and a group of Fullerton physicians.
