Mazda Announces Recall: The car maker said it is recalling more than 252,000 sedans that may need repairs on front-door latch mechanisms. The action extends to 202,445 of its 1988-91 model 626 sedans and 50,176 of its 1988-89 model 929 luxury sedans. The company said the doors on the cars may come open unexpectedly because the outer door handles may fail.
