Princess Di Helps Save Drowning Man
Associated Press
Princess Diana is being hailed as a hero for aiding a drowning man.
The princess was on her way home from a jog in London’s Regents Park on Sunday when tourists flagged her car and said someone had fallen into a nearby lake. Diana reportedly told her chauffeur to call police, then dashed to the bank of the lake.
She was joined by Kari Kotila, 29, a Finnish student living in London, who swam to the 42-year-old Irish vagrant, by then unconscious, and towed him to the bank.
