Boy Dies After Being Hit by Baseball Pitch

HERSHEY, Pa. —
A boy who was hit by a pitch during a baseball game has died of brain damage, authorities said Friday.
Justin McQuillen, 9, died Thursday. He had been unconscious since being hit by a pitch in the chest while batting in a Pee Wee League game May 11.
Doctors said the blow made Justin’s heartbeat irregular.
