* On Mother’s Day, The Times chose to print an opinion piece by an abortion advocate (Column Left, May 8). No surprise there. But, by continuing to identify Frances Kissling’s so-called “Catholics for a Free Choice” without qualification or disclaimer, The Times is in complicity with a fraud. As the U.S. Catholic bishops recently stated, “Many people may be led to believe that it is an authentic Catholic organization. It is not. It has no affiliation, formal or otherwise, with the Catholic Church,” and “merits no recognition or support as a Catholic organization.”
