RABAT, Morocco —
King Hassan II of Morocco on Wednesday appointed former foreign affairs minister Abdellatif Filali prime minister, the official news agency MAP said.
Filali replaces Mohammed Karim Lamrani, who has led a government of technocrats since November. The MAP report gave no indication why Lamrani was replaced.
