Ford Extends Rebates: The nation’s No. 2 auto maker said it has extended the programs on some new 1993 and 1994 cars and light trucks and added rebates for buyers of two models. Rebates or reduced-interest loans will be available to buyers of 1993 Ford Motor Co. products until July 5. Programs for 1994 models will expire Sept. 28. A new $500 rebate is being offered to buyers of 1993 Aerostar minivans. Rebates of $2,000 will be paid to buyers of Ford Broncos in the Boston, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle regions, Ford said.
