Northrop Grumman Picks New B-2 Head: The aerospace concern named Ralph D. Crosby Jr. general manager of its B-2 bomber division, and it announced new managers for three of the four divisions created by Northrop’s recent purchase of Grumman. Crosby, 46, succeeds Oliver C. Boileau, who was previously named president of the Grumman subsidiary. The company said John E. Harrison, 58, was named general manager of its electronics and systems integration division; Wallace C. Solberg, 63, will head its military aircraft unit, and Gerald H. Sandler, 59, was named general manager of data systems and services. Management of its commercial aircraft division will be announced later this year. The Senate Armed Services Committee appears headed toward providing $150 million to support the B-2 program beyond production of the currently authorized 20 aircraft.
