Rebel forces captured another section of the capital, pushing into a southwestern sector of Kigali even as a third round of cease-fire talks began between the Hutu-led government and Tutsi rebels. Meanwhile, a French journalist was shot and seriously wounded when government-trained Hutu militiamen opened fire on refugees in a Roman Catholic school.
