Government to Begin Releasing Data on Service Trade: The Finance Ministry will by late 1995 begin releasing data on the country’s service trade as part of the current account figures included in official international balance of trade statistics, Japan’s Jiji Press reported. Based on a formula the International Monetary Fund adopted last year, the new account figures will track trade in sectors such as construction, finance, insurance, transportation and travel. The ministry may also divide payments data into capital and current account balances, Jiji said.
