No Homer, here: The Fox network, which already brings viewers “The Simpsons,” is contemplating another Simpsons project. But this one is not a comedy.

Fox is said to be scouting for writers to produce a made-for-TV project on events surrounding the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Fox declined to comment, but an industry source said the office of Gary Hoffman, Fox’s senior vice president of movies and miniseries, contacted agents at International Creative Management to inquire about the availability of writers to work on a Simpson project.
