Honda Employee Pleads Guilty in Kickback Probe: The employee admitted accepting $120,000 in bribes, bringing to 14 the number of former American Honda Motor Co. executives and employees implicated in a nationwide kickback scheme. Beatrice Sikora, of Alpharetta, Ga., entered the plea in federal court in Concord, N.H., Assistant U.S. Atty. Michael Gunnison said. She was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Gunnison said Sikora used her position as senior traffic assistant with Honda during the 1980s to manipulate the allotment of cars to dealers. Sikora admitted giving preferential treatment to John Hendrick, co-owner of Honda Cars of Concord, N.H., who paid her a total of about $120,000.
