Honda, Utilities to Test Alternative-Fuel Cars: American Honda Motor Co. of Torrance has entered into separate partnership agreements with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. and SCEcorp’s Southern California Edison Co. to evaluate electric and natural gas vehicles. The companies said the program will give Honda feedback on its alternative-fuel vehicles and enable the utilities to study infrastructure requirements and market issues. PG&E; will get five Civic hatchback-based electric vehicles this summer and 50 1995 Civic natural gas vehicles this fall, the companies said.
