CRENSHAW : Library Offers Reading Program

A summer-long reading program, “Reading Is a Magic Trip,” begins Wednesday at the Angeles Mesa Branch Library, 2400 W. 54th Street.
The free series is designed to encourage reading for pleasure among children of all ages.
Activities include storytelling and folk-tale sessions, quilt-crafting demonstrations, puppet plays and family story times.
Storyteller Leslie Perry kicks off the series Wednesday at 1 p.m. The program concludes Aug. 18.
Participants will receive folders, book bags, puzzles, stickers and award certificates.
