Simpson Murder Case : UNRESOLVED ISSUES
Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Kennedy-Powell has not yet revealed the contents of the bulky yellow envelope that Simpson’s attorneys turned over last week. And court recessed Tuesday without a decision on the defense motion to suppress evidence seized during a search of Simpson’s home after the killing. Discussion of the motion is expected to lead off today’s hearing.
MOVIE PLANS
A Canadian television station plans to broadcast an O.J. Simpson movie marathon next week. Toronto-based CITY-TV plans to show six hours of films in which Simpson had supporting roles. CITY-TV said it will screen “The Naked Gun,” “The Towering Inferno” and “Capricorn One.” The programming choice has been criticized by a group that monitors violence in the media.
VOICE
“I said, ‘We got . . . an emergency. We got a problem. We don’t know if we have people inside that are in danger, dying, bleeding to death. We have to do something. I don’t care whose house this is. We have to do something.”
--Det. Mark Fuhrman, on why he scaled estate’s wall
