MCI Names President: MCI Communications Corp. named its top international operations executive, Gerald Taylor, president and chief operating officer of the company. Taylor, who has been with MCI since 1969, will continue to be president of MCI’s worldwide operating subsidiary, the company said. MCI has been without a president since Daniel Akerson resigned in August.
