* Susan Salay has been appointed vice president of Ingram Micro Inc.’s new marketing department, Strategic Marketing. Before the promotion, she was senior director of marketing for Ingram Micro in Santa Ana, a wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. Salay joined the company in 1986 as a marketing manager, after serving as national sales and marketing manager for Davidson & Associates. In addition, Amy Hoffman has been named vice president of product marketing. Hoffman, who joined Ingram Micro in 1989, had been senior director of the Technical Products division before her promotion.
