Wonderware Corp.: The Irvine industrial software company said its profit for the second quarter more than doubled to $1.7 million, or 13 cents a share, from $756,827, or 8 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue was up 63% to $8 million from $4.9 million. For the first half, profit jumped to $3.1 million, or 24 cents a share, from $1.4 million, or 15 cents a share, a year earlier. Six-month revenue totaled $15.3 million, an increase of 68% from the $9.1 million reported for the first six months of 1993.
