Team USA Beats Lakers, 110-99

Loe Roe of Massachusetts scored 23 points to lead Team USA to a 110-99 victory over the Lakers in the ASICS Summer Pro League Wednesday night at the Bren Center.

Arizona’s Damon Stoudamire scored 20 points, Michigan State’s Shawn Respert added 16, Wake Forest’s Tim Duncan had 13 and Duke’s Cherokee Parks, a Marina High graduate, scored 12 for Team USA, which will represent the United States at the Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia, this month.

Anthony Peeler scored 31 points and Trevor Ruffin 22 for the Lakers, who were outscored by 10 in the fourth quarter.
