Princess Faiza Fouad Rauf, 70, Beverly Hills socialite and sister of Egypt’s last monarch. Mrs. Rauf was the sister of the late King Farouk, who abdicated when Egypt became a republic. During her life in Egypt, Mrs. Rauf entertained heads of state and was a key leader of the Red Crescent Society, the Moslem corollary of the Red Cross. In 1954, she moved to Istanbul and then Paris before settling in Beverly Hills, where she lived for 30 years. Popular at Westside charity events, the divorced Mrs. Rauf was linked romantically with Ali Khan and others, but never remarried. Announced on Thursday in Westwood.
