Western Digital Corp.: The company said Monday that it has acquired the assets of Modulinc Solutions Inc. of Lynnwood, Wash., for an undisclosed amount of cash and future royalty payments.

Modulinc sells products in the data communications market. Modulinc’s lines are “an excellent strategic fit,” said Western Digital Vice President Dan Brown.

Western Digital, based in Irvine, manufactures hard disk drives, integrated circuits and graphics controller board-level products.
