Your article about our Catholic “surfing priest” on July 10 was wonderfully refreshing to read.

However, a fine article was tainted by the four paragraphs devoted to the past incident of Father David Piroli.

So often the media assumes the public desires to hear about the scandalous and criminal actions of the clergy. I assure you that is false. It was very pleasing to read a positive and well-written article on a healthy, happy priest, Father Dennis Mongrain, who is dedicated to building up the body of Christ as well as his own biceps.
