ROXY ROAD: The 1994 rock reunions are still in progress, but it’s not too early to start talking about possible regroupings for 1995. One that’s looking like a good bet is Roxy Music.

The English group has not recorded since 1982’s “Avalon” album, but leader Bryan Ferry brought in his Roxy co-founders Brian Eno (who left the band in the early ‘70s), Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay to help on his latest solo album, “Mamouna,” which will be released Sept. 20. Eno and Ferry even co-wrote one song, “Wild Cat Days,” and the album returns to the silky, atmospheric feel of “Avalon.”

Ferry plans to tour under his own name this fall, but a full Roxy reunion album and tour next year seems likely, says Andy Gershon, the singer’s new U.S. manager, who described Ferry as “keen to repeat working with (his old bandmates).”

While “Mamouna” represents a reunion for Roxy Music, it is also a parting of the ways for Ferry and his longtime U.S. label, Warner Bros. Records. The album will be released by Virgin, which has always had Ferry’s records for the rest of the world.
