GARDEN GROVE : Police Open House Includes Tour, Photo

The Police Department will host an open house today at the Public Safety Building as part of the observance of “National Night Out Against Crime.”

Free child fingerprinting and information on crime prevention and drug abuse will be available to residents. The open house begins at 5:30 p.m.

Police officers will give residents a tour of the police station, and the SWAT team and the K-9 unit will give demonstrations. In addition, residents will receive a free photo of their child aboard a police motorcycle.

The “National Night Out Against Crime” is a nationwide program to help residents fight crime by increasing crime prevention awareness and strengthening Neighborhood Watch groups.
