MOORPARK : Arrests Made in Youth Club Thefts
Two Moorpark men were arrested Monday on suspicion of burglarizing the Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark three times over the past month, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies said.
Culminating a monthlong investigation, deputies arrested Juan Gabriel Magdeleno, 18, and Francisco Magdeleno, 22, on suspicion of taking more than $4,300 worth of computer equipment and donated toys.
Two other Moorpark residents, Joseph and Valerie Wittkofski, both 38, were arrested July 22 on suspicion of receiving or purchasing stolen goods, deputies said Monday.
Deputies are seeking an arrest warrant for a fifth person, William Frank Lopez, 42, of Moorpark, who is suspected of acting as a “facilitator” in the burglaries and sales.
Deputies said Lopez is “aware he is being sought and apparently hiding.”
